The Slippery Snake of Truth

Truth changes.  It’s a slippery little devil, that truth thing.  That’s why the snake is inherently wise.  The slippery snake of truth is too wise to be held by hostile forces.  it will shed its skin to get out of the choking grasp of the uninitiated.  The snale’s bite can initiate an unevolved soul quick-like, in my humble opinion, but it doesn’t bite twice, unless forced to do so.  Snakes don’t sit around chewing on conquests.  No.  Snakes slither off to bask in the sun, probably wishing only to be left alone in their own space, without being trampled by the unwise.

Why, rattlers even warn the unwise, at great cost to their own self-preservation.
